Talking Drum Studios

A project on participation and political education for youths in Cameroun

Youths debate in the radio, in schools and in public events on current political issues of good governance like democracy, participation, anticorruption, decentralisation, integration. They produce theatre, poems, music and dance and make interviews in the field and their communities to reach a maximum of the population. Thematical workshops for listeners and participants deepen the knowledge. Objectifs of the selforganised project are capacity of participation and decision, responsible action and effective contribution to the political and societal process.
Our vision: An equal world for all.
Our results: Youths express themselves and participate in an active and responsable way in the process of change.
Our finality: A constructive dialogue of generations and cultures for a conscious and prosperous Cameroon.

Youth on the world
Young women and youths are moving the world

In exchange programs of schools, universities and of journalists on the one hand and in international radio debates on the other hand young people discuss on question of development politics, with a focus on culture and gender. Creative and action-orientated workshops tackle on visions of living together on the one world. Objectifs are to reduce prejudges and stereotypes, to support mutual approach and mutual enrichment, to strengthen existing structures by creativity and dialogue, to cooperate and participate internationally, briefly: to promote a globalisation of understanding.
